Nourishing The Heart Space
Breast care, Lymphatic support, & Intentional Touch
Breast tissue has significant lymphatic drainage needs.
Unlike other areas of the body, the breasts don’t have strong muscular pumps to move fluid — they rely heavily on breath, movement,, and gentle stimulation to support circulation.
Deep diaphragmatic breathing is a great way to support the lymphatic system. Meditative and physically beneficial to helping lower heart rate—it’s also a great way to help push some lymphatic fluid through your breasts.
Dry brushing is another great way to help with lymphatic flow. Always start with the furthest limb being your feet and always brush towards the heart. Gently sweet up in circular motions and complete all 4 limbs before brushing towards the collar bones/heart at the trunk.
Warm compresses are always a great way to help lymphatic flow.
Sauna is one of my favorite ways to get lymphatic flow. I feel a great push of toxins via sweat which is also helping the lymphatics drain.
Vibration plate’s are getting a huge spot light for helping with lymphatic flow. As they should! This is another way to get things moving along.
